Shipment Confirmation
An email will confirm that your order or part of your order has been shipped it will also contain a tracking number. This tracking number will be linked to the shipping company website and enable you to track the progress of your shipment. You may receive multiple e-mails depending on the items you selected, or if you ordered multiple items and they were shipped separately. The arrival time of your order depends on your shipping location but will generally be between 24 and 72 hours.
Shipping costs to all major cities and centres within South Africa are included in the online prices.
Shipping costs for orders outside of the main cities and centres within South Africa will need to be quoted on before an order can be placed.

Estimated Delivery Dates
Shipping your items on time is very important to us. For many items, we calculate Estimated Delivery Dates to help you find out when these items are expected to arrive. An Estimated Delivery Date is a calculation of several factors, including item availability, the shipping method you select and the final shipping destination.
When we can accurately calculate Estimated Delivery Dates, we'll provide them to you in your Order Confirmation email. Please note that Estimated Delivery Dates are estimates only, and are not guaranteed. Due to many factors, Estimated Delivery Dates can also change between the time you place the order and receive an order confirmation.
REFUNDS AND RETURNS
Defective or Damaged Items
If you believe your Skates were delivered to you in a defective or damaged condition, please contact our Customer Service Center immediately by e-mail at sales@theskatestore.co.za. We will need your order number and item number from your original confirmation
e-mail, as well as your registered e-mail address and phone number. Copying and pasting this information from your original confirmation e-mail will ensure accuracy and avoid delays! We will make every effort to assist you with your return. If you do not contact Customer Service within 30 days of your recorded delivery date, you will be responsible for all return and reship charges.
If your shipment arrives with extensive damage to the box, please do not open the box or remove any of the packaging materials.
E-mail sales@theskatestore.co.za immediately. A Customer Service Representative will have to process a damage claim with the shipping provider, have the damaged merchandise picked up from your location and give you further instructions to receive a replacement. If you do not contact Customer Service within 30 days of your recorded delivery date, you will be responsible for all return and reship charges.
Returns Disclaimer
If you decide to return an item and we determine that the product IS NOT DEFECTIVE or IS NOT IN “NEW” CONDITION, we will NOT be able to reimburse you for the shipping costs or for the product. We will notify you of our determination by e-mail within 7 days after receiving your return. You may request that the product be shipped back to you, but please understand this will be at your expense. That being said, we urge you to contact Customer Service before you start any return process, as your satisfaction is our first concern.
Refunds
You can expect a refund within 30 days of our receiving your returned product. It will be in the same form of payment you originally used for the purchase.
If the return is a result of a shipping error on our part or a manufacturer error, you will be refunded the shipping costs as well.
